  The Fake Newsers.
  
  We think the media have been somewhat un-supportive of the Trump campaign from day one and really feel that they strongly favor the left.
  This is not the way our system should be.
  So we chose “the Fake Newsers”, It sums up our feelings towards the anti-trump “fake news” media and is a really great descriptive moniker for us to stand under.
  
  The problem with starting a band like this is that punks are generally very left leaning, this always posed a problem as many people in punk scene we get along with and even go to shows with etc, do not share our political beliefs.
  That doesn't mean we have shunned them as friends as they don't share our political thoughts, but we definitely do not want them to be playing in our band.
  Conversly it means that we don't get invited to play shows with any of the other local bands, and that's fine.
  We have become a more studio based project and for now are concentrating on this while trying to find a suitable label.
  Fat Mike?
  We do consider ourselves a slightly republican leaning pop punk band, But I’m sure you probably guessed that by our name.
  That doesn't mean we agree with everything our current government does but it doesn't mean we disagree with everything like most other punk bands do.
  All of us grew up listening to the Dead Kennedys and to a lesser extent bands like NoFX but the politics always seemed a little at odds with us, We were born of a different time and while I wouldn’t go so far as to say we were “affluent” we definitely had a different set of circumstances surrounding our upbringing than the early 80’s punk rock LA scene.
  We felt that it was time that people like ourselves were represented in punk.

  We don't like that shit and if you feel that way please don't buy our stuff.
  
  “Standing on the right side of the wall” was written as a metaphor for all that is wrong with America right now, all anyone seemed to talk about while they are speaking about our president, was “the wall” and while I’m not sure that the wall will be built or even if that really is a possibility we admire the fact that someone is willing to stand up and say that on behalf of America.
  This band is about standing up and supporting our elected president in all his endeavours to “make America great again”, in fact while we are at it "lets make punk great again"
